First, we would like to thank all,  who have written to our page expressing your concern and support for Rosa. We have good news about her. The Estado de México (Mexico state) has hired, through the International Rotary Club of the state of Mexicos, the legal office of Marván y Asociados to take Rosa´s case.  The law firm is made up of two lawyers – a Mexican woman and an American man, who have represented Mexicans sentenced to death in the United States,  They have had great success in helping other Mexican prisoners resulting in sentences getting reduced or the prisoner’s declared free. So we are happy to announce that Rosa has a new opportunity. The lawyers will prepare a new case with new experts in order to submit it to the Supreme Court of Texas.

In addition, we are pleased to inform you that Rosa has finally seen “Mi Vida Dentro”, the movie about her case and she was both moved and satisfied. The lawyer I know and with whom we have contact tells us that she is in good spirit and very optimist. She is very grateful for all the sympathy and  letters of support she has received.

We also would like to also inform you that we have opened a bank account in order to collect funds for her defense under the name of a civil association [A.C.] , so you can rest assured that the funds will be used exclusively for Rosa’s defense. You can sent funds via Paypal to:
